The roof is still going on?????
Well as you can see it's been over a month and the roof is still not finished. Our site super ensured us it'll be finished in two weeks from my last entry. BULL SHITT!!! This guy wouldn't know his mouth from his bum hole, he talks that much shit. And how hard is it to read building plans considering they do it FOR A LIVING. We ave found 6 fuck ups with the electrical plans that they have put in place in the home and do you think the super noticed??? Fuckin NO. This building a house has got fuckin nobs on it. Sorry if I sound hostile but shit, enough is enough. Too much bull shit and not a big enough shovel!!! We are now waiting on some "box guttering" for the portico that should have been put in place two and a half weeks ago and the dickheads still haven't made it. Can you believe that. This guttering should have been delivered when the rest of the roof sheeting was but no the "Scheduling Dept" overlooked it. Shit a brick, how the fuck can you overlook guttering?????
If anyone out there is thinking of building a house PLEASE DON'T. Way too much stress. Buy instead.

It does look good though mate. I love the colour of your roof. I wish we had had that choice of colour.
We have walls and have noticed that they have fucked up where our alfresco is going. I like it where they have put it but they will probably realise when they discover that they don't have enough roofing material or timber to drape over to where they have built the post. Cue more delays!
Am in two minds to ring them up and tell them. Like you said, they do this job every day so you'd expect them to at least to be able to read building plans!

They're still saying its possible we'll be in by Christmas, but they didn't say Christmas of 2006!!!! Our neighbour has just moved in and his pad went down on 27/02/06 and then got his keys on 07/07/06 - not even 5 months and he's in. Its been over 4 months since our pad went down and we don't even have the roof fully covered. Like you said IDIOTS!!!!!!!

Don't get worked up over this, life is too short to worry. Just think when it is all complete you, Kay and the kids will have great time in your lovely,beautiful new home. Hopefully this one will be for the rest of your lives. Just think of this as one of lives harsh experiences, hopefully it will get better from here on in all the very best of luck to you all, and Glenn stop the yukky words they only course ulcers and they will come back time and time again to bite you in the GUT so be carefull and patient Remember thing always come to people who wait. You want this to be finished and complete but to the highest standards too And You'll get it.
